Summary
The present policy paper aims to comprehensively
assess the trends in Consumer Food Price Index-based
inflation in various countries from Southeast Asia with
a focus on Brunei Darussalam. The study has found
that Brunei maintained stable domestic food prices
compared to FAO’s (Food and Agriculture Organization)
international food price index and also the consumer
food price indexes of various other countries from
Southeast Asia.
